I haven't really had much a reason to be angry really. Aside from chewing out Hetzau.

Iskar is already in the chapter house, fidelity, investigation will start the next morning or perhaps later that night.

There are several taverns as you can see on Azlanek's map. The biggest one has already been named "The Bent Bow".
Visiting English country pubs yields some more names:
The Horn and Stallion (The Clarion Call's favourite tavern)
The Hunter's Inn (Of course something like this would be found in a city near the woods)
The Fox and Ladle (A dingy tavern in the slums)
The Penniless Poacher (Laria's gambling den)

No, it is not. At least that was with what I was going so far ^^°. I will update the map soon. Keep in mind that the moons represent inns, not taverns, which is not necessarily the same thing. So Mat, your in an Inn. I was thinking about naming it the broken lance, an inn ran by a former mercenary, decorated with jatu weapons and armour.

Edit: But frankly, I am no expert on medieval city life. I don't know how many taverns and inns would be appropriate for a city of Laria's size. I am open for suggestions.

I think there would be more taverns than actual inns, as the less wealthy part of the city populace would frequently eat at those places. (Comparable perhaps to the cookshops in today's third world countries)

A thought that just occurred to me: Will we take into account the need to rest for our characters? Naturally we should not be able to run around and do things for longer than say 18 hours without a penalty on skills, reaction times, perception, awareness, etc.

It is strategically good for us that we do. This can be useful in inter-order wars. On foot we can move faster and for longer periods than anyone else.

Related to that: can the silvermist meditation be used as a mild form of rest? Say, giving us temporary recovery of fatigue (thus reducing penalties in perception, skills and etc.)?

I'm my personal opinion, taking fatigue into account is getting a bit too nitpicky (At least if we're going to use it in the actual mechanics of the roleplay).

The meta game has already gotten a bit more than I was anticipating. I'll just presume we get rest on the side.

There a few reasons why things do not go on. Firstly, each other should at least still have something that they could talk about or respond to. Secondly and more importantly; Fidelity seems to have disappeared for the moment, so I need to discuss with the Gauntlet how they want to continue from here on, either by other players participating or by me taking over the Gauntlet's actions for a while.

I hope we will be able to continue soon. Feel free to say when you think that the mini-scenes are boring and do not keep you interested in the Rp. I am new to this as well. If all would rather just follow the main plot without things on the side, we can do that.

If you think the mini event will remain still for one more week (until sunday), silvermists would appreciate being able to use our 90 men in Laria for meta-game actions this week (perhaps also in Laria). They are there just costing us money.

Totally reasonable. It is something I have to talk with the other Gamemasters about, though.

Since things are progressing far to slow at the moment, I want to try to speed things up a bit. For the parade, therefore, I will refrain from giving you everything piece by piece, trying to lure you into making mistakes and giving you decoy situations to jump upon (simply too time consuming I fear). So please, just describe what preparations your order makes for the parade, what their orders are (including how to react to possible threats (assassination, violent people, roadblocks, manifesting demons...you know the drill Wink).

Then I would give you a choice: Either I simply make the parade a short scene, or I will give you the results/facts and you can flesh this scene out as far as you like. If you had any questions about the content of your posts, we could talk about this here as well. Please feel free to give your opinions on the progress, this method, and general ideas on how to continue best with all of this.

Thanks, it'd be nice if we could.

It seems that time-space works differently in Pendor Smile

Oh, new post came in. Here my answer:

Ok. I'll send you an algorithm for the rooftop rangers soon.
Since I'm at least twice a day at the forum, I suppose a step by step scene would work fine for me. I don't know about the others, though.

Well, you have seen how well step by step was worked up til now. I would have really liked to do everything in detail, but I think we would never finish this way.

I give all of you one reaction. After that I will conclude the parade, as we need to move on (if there are no objections, that is).

I apologize for this rather poor ending. I am not in a writing mood today, but felt like it was about time I wrap this up. Feel free to post your activities for the rest of the day in your respective forums.

Posting in here because I genuinely don't know if I have missed something. What does all the knights being in the parade have to do with anything if the parade is over?

Many of the Silvermist have left to visit the Noldor and ask about it. The Griffons are not leaving the castle except for a handful at the Dukes request. As far as I know the Ebony Gauntlet has a very small presence.
The Dukes men were stretched to the limit just surrounding the Duke with crowd control. He couldn't even cover the whole road during the parade.

Basically no one present really has the manpower except maybe maybe the Silvermist depending on how many Rangers are still in town.
