| Ah, sorry. Now that I think of it, punching horses does fit Lok way more than you.
If Cez were a clock, the northern road would be the brown line pointing to 12. The western road poinst to 10 and the southern to 7.
But you could also take more time and use the western road to get to Cez throught the forest.

| Ah, one more question. What are the black X's just beyond the green line at the beach? | |

| ...You all scare me. I mean, why would none of you go for giant, demonic hedgehogs to just tear off the heads of the cultists?
I'm going to plot my approach from the north. As smart as wrapping around to the westerly approach would be, I can't come up with a good reason for why Laisha would actually think to maneuver that way.

| Theo's hedgehogs
That will be the name of my band when I finally become rich and famous and can spend the rest of my life doing things like that. It has a nice ring.

| Why not just hire some dwarves to mount up on wild boars and then run down the Cultists?
Or even hedgehogs?
Sindari? | |

| Haha, thanks Pravenstern. However, I did see Saeros' post about it when they were first constructed, so I know what we're dealing with.
Besides, I was kind of enjoying the tangent about prickly animals....

| Ah... I liked my hedgehogs better.
Anyway, the hedgehogs were built with the intent of stopping or slowering cavalry and, to lesser extent, infantry, so they were tied together and spread over the beach and forest in a maze-like formation, which only the silvermists and legionnaires in the woods know how to dodge. Romans used to do those kind of hedhehog-fences and I have a picture of it, but it'll take too long to post now and I'm in a hurry. The Roman-style hedgehogs were assembled like Lego bricks and were actually very versatile.
Further at the beach, under the waterline, there are bigger iron-tipped hedgehogs, placed one by one (not in groups). The purpose of these were to break the ships hulls and force the enemies disembarkment.
By the way, I'm pretty sure that Mastifus has a secret armored bear cavalry hidden in Rane, and that his knights wield axe-nunchucks.

| Just a note Marcus: You have a total of 32 (- the messenger, 31) Centurions, 150 Legionnaires, 169 Retainers and 100 militia. This adds up to 450 Javelin-throwers, assuming the militia has them. | |

| The grandmaster is coming to kick the snakes' collective asses.
Poor Pravestern. He will indeed turn insane handling all the humans here. I suggest we at least try to avoid playing unnecessary semi-npcs and stick to RPing our main characters, like in a real battle.
