Lucius is with you. You are with all the Shadow legion soldiers and Kyros' large army. Kyros is going with you.

The Legionnaires... Well... They are mostly sitting around a large table with their retainers with them with another table between them and the door. A couple may be further away for something.

Could you give me any info on how far the tables are from the doorway? Are they in sword-charging range?

Also, take that a javelin throw takes that one second. If they'd all throw javelins at that time, could the legionaries have time to protect themselves against a melee attack? I'd say some would, the ones further away.

Maybe if they aimed at the ones further away and charged the closest ones with swords?

The tables form 'walls' from the door. The first table is about 2 meters from the door, and the next roughly 6. These 'walls' also break every ten meters or so in holes of 2 meters to allow people to pass. You have a hole in front of you.
