| One thing that has irritated me alot is how do the Noldor actually act towards humans? All of the KOTEG RP that the Noldor just kill everybody and are completely evil with one goal:destruction of men. At the same time, we of the Silvermist RP that the Noldor are mellowing a bit and becoming slightly friendlier and have stopped their random raids and killings.
Since this is causing players to create conflicting events in character backgrounds and otherwise, could we have a standard for how the Noldor act now? And how often does Aeldarian go berserk killing people nowadays? I think it would be good to know this, as the KOTEG characters RP that it's a fact that Noldor still kill for no reason, and the Silvermists RP as though they have definitely stopped, and it is causing Lore issues, and if it goes unchecked, I think it can cause severe problems with major events in the future. And I would like to know how to properly defend the Noldor's cause and the actual state of things.

| But just because its a rumor doesn't mean its true. sometimes word spreads and it gets elongated out and twisted so thus far from the truth. But who is to say it can't be true . | |

| Quite honestly, in my opinion you both are wrong. There are Noldor that fit the view of the KotEG, and there are Noldor that fit the view of the Silvermists.
Noldor are very human-like. You're going to have extremists on both sides of the "Humans are good" and "Humans are bad" scale. You're also going to have moderates who lean more towards one way of thought, but are closer to the middle.
They do not act as a single hivemind of with viewpoint shared by all. The KotEG backgrounds are entirely justified because there are Noldor like that.
Just like there are Noldor who wish to live in peace with the Humans.
- This is my view on it. The Noldor are a very touchy subject, and noone knows very much about them.

| that personally is my characters view on them. he isnt a total hatred toward all noldor but he distrusts them on a whole (fair given his history) and merely wishes the acknowledgement of their very very human fallibility. | |

| I think Noldor behavior is best left uncertain. We are the ones that know them better, but we still don't know enough.
The stories may or may not concern actual events, e.g.: I may tell the young boy that the noldor killed their family, or I, human, may save a village and tell them that it was the will of the Noldor. It's not that they had wikipedia at the time, or even a reliable post system.
I am sure that, if everyone knew exactly what happens everywhere in Pendor, there would be much less disagreemeng among orders and this isn't good, RPwise. And sometimes the true information goes against the grandmasters plans.

| Moreover, I think i heard someone is writing a novel about Pendor, we should leave these decisions for him and then amend our knowledge from that book he has wrote. | |

I'm afraid I simply cannot go into more detail as I do not know more, SD is very protective about their lore as he wants to reveal more when he writes his book - I am sure that they will feature very heavily in that.
