While listening to silvermist zekic's expression changed from angry to a smile, he even laughed a bit.

"As much as i would love to see silvermist execute on of tree hugger's, i am not giving you my kill. You'r excuse for an execution is that noldor killed those who you should have protected eh? Well it's just you'r failure that you didin't protect them.I, on the other hand, have to avenge death of my fellow order member, who was cowardly killed from behind."

Sir Kamos grabbed the bridge of his nose and rubbed it briefly while looking down. His face still bearing a scowl.

Must you squabble so? I'd suggest allowing the Duke, as sovereign protector and ruler of these lands, to render his judgement on the assassins either personally or with men under his command. They were caught acting inside the borders of Pendor acting against it's local ruler. I'm sure a representative of the King who carries authority in this region will be fine for carrying out the justice you seek.

Glancing to Neltoroin.

Neltoroin can act as an observer on behalf of the Noldor to see that justice is done. Dead is dead after all, though I won't lie and say I know your culture all that well.

Cowardly killed from behind? So were the refugees in the forests. They also tried to kill Aldric, his squad and Lord Quentin, which is a far greater crime than killing a random knight of the Ebony Gauntlet with whom they are at war anyway. This is a case of Larian and Noldor jurisdiction, your quarrelsome order holds no authority here.

He turned back to the duke.

Your Grace, in order to prove to the people that the peace between Pendor and the actual Noldor is unshattered it would be highly beneficial if they saw one of the assassins executed by Neltoroín. Then they will understand that the Noldor despise these renegades as much as we do - and as much as we would despise human renegades trying to cause a war, he added with a glance towards the gauntlet knights.

"Refugees were under you'r damn protection so you were supposed to protect they'r back's they weren't defensless, or shouldn't be if you have kept you'r promise, on the other hand the knight was defenesless, as we didin't except any of attacks in city, so we didin't protect him.

Secondly how in the world trying to kill some random silvermist, even if lord is under his protection is greater crime then killing actual Knight of Ebony Gauntlet?, and if noldor are at war with us i guess we can just kill every noldor we see then? Our brother was killed there that's where our authority comes from. And referring you'r remark, unlike noldor we don't send assassin's and attack from behind like coward's,we fight honorably, and our intention's are to make sure humanity is safe from all potential threats, including noldor."

Zekic turned to duke as Silvermist did seconds ago.

"My Lord, we must show people that before our king, before our lord's all are even, noldor, and human's alike, and lord's don't simply forgive assassination attempt. If noldor want to cooperate they must first deal with they'r inner rebels. Why should we let them fix they'r mistakes so easely when they just sent assassins at you? Where is the proof that such thing won't happen again?. If you begin to trust noldor too much such things may happen again, just next time it will be easier for them. It should be shown that it won't be easely forgiven, they are lucky that kingdom of Pendor didin't treat it as a declaration of war!"

With finals word's Zekic was watching at the emissary and for a few seconds remained silent, then he turned to Duke.

"You'r Grace we should show that the people of Pendor are first priority, the king's and lord's are first priority, not some noldor. I propose one of noldor is executed by me for my fallen brother, one by you for assassination attempt, and one by Lord Quentin for attacking him. Silvermist act only as guard's, and one of numerous order's who assissted in finding assassins, they got no reason to execute noldor. This emissary can watch execution, in a sign of condemning assassin's."

The Duke ponders for a second

"Sir Zekic, for the Ebony Gauntlets aid in the city in the past few days, I will grant you the honor of executing Galion in my stead. I will preside over his execution, and you may deal the final blow for your knight-brother."

He looks to Iskar and Nelteroin

"Lord Constable, you shall slay one of them, for attacking my son and your squad. Nelteroin, you may execute one for the reasons the constable stated, we must show the people that the Noldor don't tolerate them either."

"That is my verdict. The execution shall be tomorrow morning, you may question the prisoners."

After listening Dukes verdict, zekic was silent for a few seconds, then he said.

"Good enough for me.You'r grace." He then gave a short bow to Duke, more simbolicly then out of respect and turned to his knight's "Let's go" Before turning around he catched Iskar's sight for a second.

On his way out Zekic 'accidently' stepped on the ankle of nolodor, he pierced previously with crossbow.

"Sorry" Said, he with edge of smile on his face, while nolodor realesed short cry of pain.

With the written account at hand, Iskar said, there will be no need to additionally question the prisoners, Your Grace. We will meet you tomorrow at the execution site outside the city walls. I hope there will be sufficient guards to prevent the Gauntlets from doing anything stupid to the prisoners during the night. Perhaps Sir Kamos could see to this?

Zekic still heard Iskar's word's and stopped for a second just to say "It seem's you have mistaken something silvermist, we are not noldor, and we don't act like them, we are Knight's of Ebony Gauntlet." and then he finally left.

That is exactly what bothers me, Iskar replied with a derisive smile.

He bowed to the duke and gave a friendly nod to Kamos and Neltoroín.

Your Grace, Sir Kamos, Ambassador Neltoroín, I shall see you tomorrow.

He turned on the heel and gathered his men with a decisive wave of the hand. The rangers and halberdiers fell in line behind him as the Lord Constable left the castle and made his way back to the Clarion Hall.

Heralds announced the execution to the populace, still reeling in the aftermath of the riot the day before. People crowded to the Market square, where a hastily built scaffold sat.

The Duke's guard personally escorted the Noldor prisoners to the market square, where they were greeted with jeers and curses. The three orders also came along to the execution, with the outsider Griffon knights and Gauntlets being greeted more warmly than they had 3 days prior. The Silvermist green was everywhere, with many of their militia still in the city.

Nelteroin and Quigfen came together, escorted by the few Noldor bodyguards Quigfen has in the city. They went mostly unnoticed, as the crowds were more preoccupied by the Noldor criminals.

Alamar rode with his knights, and dismounted as they got near the scaffold

Iskar rode onto the plaza on his caparisoned saddle horse. His silver halfplate armour glittered below a dark green cape embroidered with silver and golden fleurs-de-lys. As he dismounted a ranger handed him a silvered greatsword for the execution and led away his horse, while Iskar took position at the scaffold, waiting for the duke to announce the execution.

Zekic Thunion arrived after Iskar, as an executioner and a native of the city, he was greeted very warmly. Zekic Thunion was walking on foot in his usual armor Ebony Gauntlet armor. He was carryng his usual sword, and in fact no other sword was more fitting for such execution then this, a sword which long time ago belonged to noldor.Zekic was smiling triumphantly as it was his day, the day when he removes of the head of yet another tree huger.
