To Arena II

I'll start with my question: Drsane, is the grass tall enough for me to hide in it?

I'm not sure about the arena grounds. The middle is heightened? You can only get there by climbing the mounts of loose gravel?
How can it be destroyed?

to Saeros
Except from Altair's skills:
WP 2
Sp 0
Sk 1

Is everything else up to me? Age, bio and such?

Arena III

The middle is at level. to the right and left of the entrances are small mounds with a normal slope out of sand. (You can walk easily from one side to the other)
but it falls off rather steep to the middle (loose gravel, and 1m height in the middle).
I edited the Map, everyting yellow is at level and the darker it gets the higher it is

The ground can be destroyed because it is wood and someone might have an axe. (eg: the "boar" makes 3 mighty strikes at the ground with his axe and then falls through the ground to his demise) it would take much much longer for other characters and without axes..

Honestly, 5 cm of sand protects the wood from axes quite nicely. And the wood has to be sturdy to allow the weight of sand and participants.

Yep, but you can brush the sand aside and then strike at it...
the reason I wrote it was to prevent a scene like: "the boar is taking apart the whole arena and the other team is letting him do it because F*** the Gamemaster" =)

Ah sorry Serious, i didnt see this thread bieng made Rolling Eyes

No the grass is not long, its only distinguishing feature is that it acts as normal ground to walk on with no negative modifiers, the sand however slows you down.

so for the guys of arena III:

after aelos and marcus posted it is possible that you can reach each other through charging or otherwise, so after that, pm me what you want to do, I roll the dice and decide what happens and who writes first, then you post in the given order...you can RP as much as you like in your posts...

Arena II:

Ooo, we will have graphical updates!

Picky question: how can Caranthir carry a bow and a javelin at the same time? Does that mean that he places the Javelin on the gound in order to have a free hand to shoot? or that he puts his bow in the back to use the javeling as melee?

This is important for me, because him shooting would mean no melee in the same round, and him in melee stance = no shooting. If I survive this fight I'm so going to do that.

This is important for me, because him shooting would mean no melee in the same round, and him in melee stance = no shooting. If I survive this fight I'm so going to do that.

He would carry it his same hand as the bow, and when shooting, just sticks it in the ground, because of his speed he can get away with this.

If say his next move was to stay still and take another shot and you just ran towards him, he would not have enough time to get out the javelin no.

It all really depends on how many actions he takes and how many actions are taken against him, if you have any "what if he did this and i did this" scenarios PM me and i'll give you the likely outcome.

It seems to me Theo wouldn't be able to reach him before he took out another javelin with that new leg injury.

lol yer, forgot bout that.

As i said it really depends on how much is bieng done, thats why Renault barely got to move, he had a javelin to throw.

Yes, but you'll have to wait until Atlantic evening for that. My current bandiwidth doesn't let me do such things without much effort.
