Your Character's Family -Thread

Describe your character's family (Wife, children etc.) if they have one. Edit your posts as the RP goes forward. I got the idea from Passage of Time -thread. Posting here is voluntary and you can decide the details you say about the subject.

Sir Azrael:
- Parents dead
- Company dispersed around Pendor
- Sven still keeps his own household.

Arne Arnviðr (Blaze):

Brother : Lorne(Married, just had a newborn son)
Father and mother : His parents hated him for something he did before enlisting as a soldier.
Brother:Bjorn(died, killed by Blaze's former rival at the Red Brotherhood)

His family is at Cez, however, his parents live in Pagundur.

Jareth Meraxes: -Father falsely executed for treason
-Mother killed afterwards in the fights
- 2 Brothers (Jon and Andred) fled to Pendor, never heard of them again

Theo Venator:

- Parents died at the Siege of Janos.
- Brother still in the legion, Janos' cohort.
- Sister missing since the siege, probably dead or sold as a slave.

- The rest is a secret

This is the reason why his parents hate him:

*Blaze, or just Arne at that time, was a pickpocket,stealing money from unwary townspeople, he was enventually caught for stealing a visiting village sheriff beautifully crafted silver sword. His parents beat him and scolded him, not too long afterwards....*

"Dad, Im enlisting in the Lord Dirigun Farsail's army."

"What?!Are you mad?!I am sure me and your mother would want you to be in a university in the Empire."

"No,dad, I want to...." (Gets slapped by his father)

"I said NO!, First, you became a thief, now you want to be a soldier??!!As my eldest son, you are to inherit my cattle business"

"Leave that to Lorne! I dont want to become a weak merchant."

*After some intense argument, his father finally said*

"Do what you want Arne! Know that if you enlist in the army, you are banished from this family! We may be commoners, but we are good merchants!"

"Whatever, dad......."

Blaze never see his dad or mom again, although he was with contact with Lorne, his brother several times. His other brother , Bjorn, was too much of a "momma's-boy" to want to go against his parents. The contact with Lorne finally broke when his family moved from Valonbray to Cez.

Father and mother:

- They live in Cez, father is 59 and mother is 57.

- One of the richest families in Cez, the Merulas hold great political power over the Old Empire lands.

- Sister: Marcus's sister is a famous tournament holder in Cez. She can create wonderous events with lots of drama.

Father: Knight of the Griffon, exiled when it was disbanded by King Ulric. Died of sickness two years ago.

Mother: Died of an unknown sickness early is my life.

No siblings or other relatives.

Parents family, all dead by the noldor when he was 14.

Father an ex mercenary captain. occasionally trains men as caravan guards ect, since son left to join the legion.

Father: Knight of the Eventide, Deceased.
Mother: Died at birth

Sir Henry Weatherford

-Parents and siblings killed in house fire.
-Wife is Celeste Weatherford, Daughter is Hope Weatherford. They live in Marleons with Celeste's Noble family.

Sir Kamos:
- Father a noble with minor holding not far from Shapeshte. Deceased
- Mother still alive.
- Older brother who now rules over his fathers holdings.
- Younger Sister living with his brother.

- Unmarried

Seems like everybody hates their parents since only like 3 people still have one of them alive XD (Must be for easier RP purposes I guess)

If Theo still had parents he'd be at home working in the farm It's hard to face death every now and then when you got wife and children waiting for you at home.

its almost necessary for the eg gm. i have to have some reason to legitimately hate the noldor. the disfiguring of my face and arm is just icing on the cake.

Plus he died relatively happily in my case.

It would be enough to tell people that it was this way Hating the Noldor may also be mere politics. At least my character does not believe the Harlequin's story...

A kitchen accident seems more plausible.

Father - Lord of a well-sized estate. Alive, but infirm.
Mother - Alive and in good health. Again, elderly.
Older Brother - Former Knight of the Griffon. Crippled in action. Rules over family estate, duties inherited by younger brother.

ooc: in all seriousness the lore makes the noldor to be pretty cruel.

Iskar is around 25.

His parents as well as his wife and newborn son have gone missing after a snake cult raid, though they have been killed most probably. Yet, who knows?

That scar only proves the Noldor don't like your character, nothing more. To be precise it only proves that someone with knowledge of Noldor runes did not like him...

Let's keep this from becoming a "Noldor this" and "Noldor that" thread.

Sir Darlion's father lived a life of adventure as a mercenary captain. However, as he grew older (And the woman who carried his child, Darlion, was too late into the pregnancy to fight anymore) he chose to spend the money he acquired on a place to settle down. He chose the D'shar plains, the homeland of his mother, and became a horse rancher. A profession he still carries on to this day while his son rises up in the world. Sir Darlion's own warhorse is said to be from his father's stock.

Sir Darlion's wife, a minor noblewoman in Sarleon named Astrid, was once handmaiden to queen Gudrun. She and Darlion met in the streets of Sarleon shortly after it was liberated from the mad king Ulric, and were eventually wed. She and Gudrun are now friends in the same court, both taking care of young children.

Sir Darlion has two kids, twins. One, a boy named Robert, and the second a girl named Branwenn. Both have the black hair of Sir Darlion's grandmother, a rare sight in Sarleon lands.

Ser Varys

Mother and Father both died...in an unfortunate accident.

Older brother also died of another accident.

One uncle, but Ser Varys does not know where he is or if he is even still alive.

His bio says that he was disfigured by the Noldor. There's no point in lying OOC, so I see no point in arguing it. Mat's parents are amazingly still alive, though they are incredibly old. (For the time period.) He pays to keep them alive and for the medicines that they require from time to time.

-His brother was KIA at a field battle against Sarleon.

-Sister is currently employed a brothel, although she may or may not be dead as of yet. The other sister was kidnapped by the Red Brotherhood a few days after Mat joined the Ebony Gauntlets. He tried to track them down, but lost there trail at Marleons.

Father: Knight of the Ebony Gauntlet, deceased, died in one of the final battles of Mordred's campaign

Mother: Alive, still living in Marleons, 53

Brother: Alive, Henry, a rich merchant, 30

Sister: Alive, Astrid, a tavern owner, 26

And oh my, we really are fleshing out our characters, aren't we?
