This is the official nobility material on stormwind.

Nope, they are just slightly annoyed with orders in general.

For the sake of contextualization, Dawnites: did you think Redsword's dead through? Shouldn't lords have the right of life and a fair trial?

Saeros,

Redsword's status is completely up to the person who captures him. I (personally) don't want to kill him, but the characters that are currently pursuing him do. Wolfarmin's traits make him battle crazed and merciless, and Arceon has showed he wants to kill him too.

I don't wish to interfere with the rp, he deserves a trial, but it's the characters choice

If he surrendered earlier before battle then Varis would remember the rights of nobles.
But in the chaos and blood soaked streets of Javiksholm there are only two truths in Varis's mind:
This is war, and war is hell. Time for talks is over.
And Sides have been chosen, the Lord Redsword has thrown in his lot with the Red Dawn, not only harboring them but using his city and garrison to defend against us.

Right now we are doing our bloody work. If Redsword lays down his arms when caught he'll be taken alive, if he fights he'll be cut down. No plan B, no hesitation. (individual player char responses not withstanding_

That's a nice intro for a book. Or, you know, that summary that comes on the back cover.

Saeros,

about the Western Lords signing the Marleons Charter,

is it just the major lords who have signed it, or is there also a large amount of the gentry and minor nobility who have signed it?

Some of the minor nobility have signed. Some out of genuine agreement with the cause, some just because their lieges have signed it. However, they have close to no influence in, well, anything, so you can just disregard them.

Sir Rivalin a commander? Remember the old frail monk from "The vows we take..."? That was him. I doubt he would be able to lead troops...

A footboy came charging into the room ecstatic, an open letter in his hand, "GRANDMASTER ITS A MIRACLE, SIR RIVALIN CAN WALK AGAIN," yelling nearly out of breath.
Aranor was unresponsive, continuing to whittle away at a letter addressed to the noble lords.
"Well we can't have that," he breathed.
He looked up and plainly said, "Send him to the front."

The footboy, now an old man on his death bed ninety years later, would tell chroniclers,
"It was that day when I learned it wasn't the grandmaster or some man who laughing at me...it was the Goddess."

Being an american it would be much more effective to tempt me with a free cowboy hat, a six pack of natty ice, and guns.

but thanks iskar, its good to know that my texty-posts and damaged character is getting some love from the silvermists.

What is the current relationship(s) between

A: Merchant Princes and Sarleon Merchants

B: Merchant Princes and Ravenstern Merchants

C: Minor Nobility and peasantry
(are the peasantry of the West generally satisfied with their overlords?)

I shouldn't be telling you guys this, but the event will move forward after the reports are in, so that defences are in position if they were moved.
