| Well, what has pass, passed. So to those responding to the wording of the word "fatal", look down.

| For "Fire" we say "Leithio!" which does not sound like "Manwa" at all PS: I have come to the conclusion that we should avoid the verb "to fire" for sending off projectiles, since it is a product of the development of firearms, which Pendor does not have. I'd suggest using "loose" for arrows (like in notch-draw-loose), "to shoot" when describing the process or even other periphrases, like a catapult going off, a ballista hurling a bolt towards the target or bows sending off arrows. I realise I have used the command "Fire" or the verb several times myself, but I intend to stick to the more medieval expressions now. | |

| I think "Lethio" is the imperative for "loose", not "fire". "Fire" should be something in the lines of "Bal".
EDIT: at opening of LOTR Elrond said "lethio i philine" ("release the arrows"). I doubt that a battle order would have the article, since it makes it take too long to spell, but the verb is there. | |

| Regarding Lucius's sudden return: Did the rangers Iskar sent after him not see anything they deemed reportworthy? | |
