So heres my idea, we make a whole new section for the metagame, and have it interactable with by the players. Heres how it would work:
Chapter movements is a week by week basis of each orders movements and commands, not the outcome but the commands. . Each chapter does there respective movements and place them in on every week.
Map is just the up to date map, any important announcements and any court discussions with the king.
The Field The field is the important one, it is also on a week by week basis like the Chapter movements, however it is for the Roleplayers and is where they undertake the orders given to them by there grandmasters. It will allow:
- players to roleplay in quick little scenarios in respect to the metagame - players to act with lots of freedom - inter order struggles to happen very frequently without special threads to be made in the missions - people can rebel if they want to
So lets do a quick example for Griffons: A plan is decided amongst themselves, Darlion writes up his orders for Chapter movements in week 1. "The entire order is recalled to Sarleon to instegate a military Coup of Mordred." Then in The Field for week 2 the topic "Military Coup" is made and all the griffon knights post in that about there actions.
Do you think this would link the RP and the Metagame?
I think that this is a great idea.

| @ Saeros and Psychozoa; what exactly is it that you need? A thread is a string of posts, what we are talking now is a thread. A collection is threads housed under one topic (The Den of Iniquities for instance) is a board. I am guessing it is the latter that you want? | |

| then I guess we need a Board =). But I think we really have to test things first, the most difficult I think will be teambattles. Can we come back to you for that? | |

| How about a board called "Arena", open to all players? From there we create threads ourselves when they are needed. | |

| Right, so lets get this summarised down.
1. Turns take 2 weeks now 2. All Meta-game activity is handled through a single board (This means all orders and outcomes will be public) 3. One single huge event for all Orders, rather than a multitude of mini ones 4. Meta game and RP need to be more interconnected 5. Strategic reasons to actually build conflict in the meta game, at the moment there is too much at stake 6. A more centrally located map (with the single meta game board, makes it more relevant) 7. The Arena (already up and running)
8. Secret objectives given by me, with rewards for achieving them 9. Resources have strategic merit 10. Specialist NPCs (Such as the Mettenheim blacksmith. Provide materials and he will boost your armour ratings)

| Actually I'm against secret objectives. Orders can just decide what they want to achieve politically. | |

| Maybe secret objectives could be done side of the main mission, like King wants to kill XXXX and gives that objective to random orders/persons and some orders/persons objective would be to protect that man given by a NPC thus giving when succeeded a specialist to protecting order or cash boost to assasins. And that would be implemented in the event. | |

| The objectives can be negotiated so that they are not just rudimentary and random. If, say the Eventides wanted to sway a part of the Dawn to the heresy, then this could become their objective, all I would do in that instance is put a reward on it. | |

| Why do we need rewards? Not everything needs to be rewarded. We have the lore and everyone knows what their order generally wants, so we strife to achieve these RP goals. Reaching your RP goals is a reward by itself and we don't need to quantify everything, I think. | |

| Point taken, i'm too used to carrot driven game play where every action has to be rewarded! | |

| Pavlov weeps.
I think we would all benefit if you gave us some examples of the limits of what can be done, both by grandmasters and regular players.
The most extreme being killing the king, but bold stuff like proclaiming independence, building a city in the desert, inciting the Noldor to destroy mankind and invoking Erida seem to me cool things to do, RPwise. But I fear some lines will be crossed in those cases.

| The Shadow Legion could also just desert Pendor and conquer the whole of Pendor with the Snake Cult.
Should go with some very nice RP. What do you think, shall I do this?

| Marcus could just be taken over by Azi Dahaka. Oh and don't worry, he will miraculously struggle and win against Dahaka and holds his consciousness for a moment to allow Saeros to escape. But then he falls under it again | |

| A horde of D'shar raiders could come storming out of the desert, or mystmountains from the north. Is that possible after unification? | |
