| Not this time! It's now posted in the IC thing. This would be a good opportunity to warn everyone that my deadline to hand over my Phd thesis is next week, and hand it over I shall. So I'll be on the forum only between sips of tea, or when I'm feeling confident enough to distract myself. If all goes well, by the end of the year you will all have to call me Dr. Saeros | |

| Aelos excells in swordfighting, as listed in his bio.
WP 2 Speed 0 (standard minus shield) Skill 4 (exceptional swordsman and duelist, plus griffon sword+shield combo)
equipment: sword and shield

| Marcus is the same, and he's got a sword and a shield too. And his skill is 3 | |

hmm, but both Griffons and Legion get the +1 on skill with that combo. I hope they accept the 4 SK then EDIT I read the new thread, and I am not so sure if my skill is too high. surely without the sword it would be less... Since Aelos excells in swords and the Griffon bonus, I gave him +2 on SK. without a sword, it would just be 2. But seeing the Noldor skills it might be better if it becomes a 3?

| It sounds kind of high. 3 is already a top among humans.
I think anyone who gave himself a raw 4 or more would have to justifiy it a bit. Like being blessed by the gods or having spent 10 years in a monastery or something.

| Perhaps it would be helpful to give people a base number of points, such as five or potentially six, and then allow one more point to the most justifiably powerful characters. | |

| I'm considering switching the random factor from 1d3 to 1d4, in order give the a better range for the effects of player RP. I'm not good with numbers. Iskar, help! | |

| Hypothetically speaking, would it be possible for any dishonorable fighters to sneak things such as poison in the arena? | |

And then likely never be able to participate again after.

| Iskar, I'd go with 4 speed. It sounds reasonable for you and Caranthir, with that whole "skill equal to noldor" thing, and "closest humans to the Noldor" thing as well. Varys: Eventides have WP 2. It's not altered by equipment. Speed 3 does sound excesssive for a mounted knight of an order who focus on anti-knight warfare (Eventide special) and is used to wear heavy armour, and on a horse. I wont question your number; if you find it reasonable, keep it. - Quote :
- (Is it possible for him to have shortened javelins?)
No. But you can pick up normal javelins and break them in half once the battle begins. Weapon choice has to be limited to prevent mess, or else we'll soon publish a Pendor d20: players handbook. - Quote :
- Is SP a bit OTT?
I have no idea what OTT means. EDIT: not for me.

Changed, and Varys is more of an assassin than a mounted knight, he has experience in mounted warfare but most of the time he relies on light armor and the such, which is what I believe justifies his speed. I wanted to keep the WP low just so that he wasn't OP or anything, didn't want to be the one guy that makes an OP character. @DD point taken, haha.

| Ana and Renault must duel.
Two questions remain:
Do they each acquire a partner?
or
Do they fight mounted? | |

Take a white glove and slap him in the face first. I don't know how to make the combat mechanics for mounted combat. Feel free to try, though. Will we ever see James Hetfield Mordred in battle?
