For the newcomers: Please read the roleplay guidelines (although most of them are more or less dictated by common sense anyway).

For all of you: To keep this tidy maintain a certain structure when making a new thread: IC-Scene: 'random location'. I'd suggest sorting threads by locations and keeping track of time by timeline notes, i.e. if your character leaves Rebache (IC-Scene: Rebache) and travels to Mobray Castle (IC-Scene: Mobray Castle) you add a little OOC note to your last post in the Rebache scene, saying that your character's actions continue in Mobray Castle and that you estimate such and such time for the travel. In your first post at Mobray just add a little note saying that this post continues your recent actions at Rebache. That way we should be able to preven temporal confusion, teleporting and characters being present in different scenes at the same time.

PS: I'll be noting down important results or developments in the IC-Materials thread so you won't have to skim through increasingly long IC discussion to find the facts later on.

Does the Law of Halves apply to the lords in this case?

Added the basic scenes for the three baronetcies. Feel free to add other scenes when you need them, just make sure to add appropriate timeline notes.

Well, things certainly seem to be getting interesting. I wonder who shall rise and who shall fall, not just among the baronets but also the knights - no doubt some free knights shall rise to landed if they play their cards right, and the Adventurers might be able to secure their own fortunes. Someone particularly ambitious might even be able to depose one of us baronets.

Ignored? You already have one conversation awaiting, and another once the castle clears out.

Also, this was just the opening scene to get the claims heard by everyone and kick things off. The special characters (Archdeacon, Sheriff, Mercenary Captain, Adventurer) will certainly travel around to see where their own goals are served best.

@Marcus and Nickolas: Note that officially your characters are bound to Yaragar as household knights for the time being.

@ Iskar: About the training, for how long does this training have to continue to give that effect? I would think it would take at least a week of training...

Yes, it would remove the levies from active service for some time, so it should be considered whether it is worth it. Basically any knight can do such a training, though the outcomes would depend on his bio and personality. Ealdred for example is a seasoned warrior and highly values order and discipline, but he actually despises the lowborn scum he is training there and this also lowers their morale by his behaviour.

I think we have to keep track of what day it is in each thread ... The scene at Mobray Castle and the one of the Tavern at Mobray Castle are day 1 I guess.
The other threads of Rabache, Yaragar and Belmonfaire started one day after because the Lords had to get back to their holdings.
I just don't like how people are appearing everywhere without even some traveling time.

What do you think?

This is what I was assuming. Should I start putting timestamps on the bottom of my posts?

Regarding Nickolas and Carax currently being bound to Yaragar, I figured as much.

I have a feeling Nickolas is likely to side with Yaragar and Thedric Baras anyway at this rate. Nickolas is not known for dealing with "unsavory" types. Smile

Edit:
I hope my timeframes are accurate. Still need to get used to the mechanics.

Carax likes to be on the winning side, but his loyalty can be assured quite easily. Perhaps even convinced to fight a losing battle. He tries to be honourable, after all, though being of commoner stock.

@Sir Nickolas: times seem to be correct.

@Iskar: how is the biggest village called in the Kelredan area, my character is on the way to get there. Just so that I can start a new thread with the correct name.
