- players to act with lots of freedom
- inter order struggles to happen very frequently without special threads to be made in the missions
- people can rebel if they want to Twisted Evil

So lets do a quick example for Griffons:
A plan is decided amongst themselves, Darlion writes up his orders for Chapter movements in week 1. "The entire order is recalled to Sarleon to instegate a military Coup of Mordred." Then in The Field for week 2 the topic "Military Coup" is made and all the griffon knights post in that about there actions.


Do you think this would link the RP and the Metagame?

Okay i have reposted it because:
A. I think it would bridge the void between metagame and RP
B. Didn't look like anyone fuckin read it apart from Marcus

It will work because it will allow EVERYONE to participate in the metagame and know EXACTLY whats happening because it all takes place in one, easy to understand area.

We have to find a bloody solution to the problem that the metagame isnt achieving anything and is killing the roleplay. And everyone seems to have just wandered of.

It hasn't been ignored. We're talking in the shadows about how to best implement changes. I'm also very short on time at the moment, so dont expect massive sweeping changes right away.

1. Turns take 2 weeks now Done
2. All Meta-game activity is handled through a single board (This means all orders and outcomes will be public) Done
3. One single huge event for all Orders, rather than a multitude of mini ones
4. Meta game and RP need to be more interconnected
5. Strategic reasons to actually build conflict in the meta game, at the moment there is too much at stake
6. A more centrally located map (with the single meta game board, makes it more relevant) Done
7. The Arena (already up and running) Done
8. Secret objectives given by me, with rewards for achieving them Abandoned
9. Resources have strategic merit
10. Specialist NPCs (Such as the Mettenheim blacksmith. Provide materials and he will boost your armour ratings)

No, these numbers are just something proportional to the actual troop numbers/wealth. They are so high because we weight some things more than others, so they go into the total value with higher coefficients.

E.g. a knight counts 8 points towards total military, while a militia man only 2. For the economy it's similar. Steady income counts more than banked riches, for example.

So the final numbers don't show the actual level of troops and wealth, but only give you some impression of the order's strength in comparison to the other orders.

All clandestine actions and those that are RP-wise secret will still be played out in the respective chapter houses without other orders knowing. Only by using espionage (again using clandestine guilds) there is a chance to discover these secret actions.

You can also make an otherwise public action secret if you come up with a good plan or idea for it, e.g. if you find a way to concentrate troops in secret before attacking, these orders will not have to be posted in the public thread.

The latter just reflects that usually one gets to know most of what is happening by travelling merchants, peasants passing by, etc.
