| Actually I should have started writing a paper for university today, but I just weren't in the appropriate mood, so I killed time by making a synopsis of the battle. Silvermist Rangers | Shadow Legion | Eventide | Veccavi | position: rear cliffs | position: coast road | position: flanks of the Legion | disembarking scout force | | | | scout force advances, discovers carriage | Rangers shoot scouts before they can report back | | | | new ruse: fake king | Lucius Valerius takes the role of the fake king in the carriage | | Veccavi troops take the bait and start disembarking | | Legion charges downhill in close formation | | first wave charges up the beach | rangers start firing | Marcus calls for help | Eventide knights charge in from the flanks | first wave is utterly crushed | firing | fighting | fighting | remaining soldiers of the first wave retreat back to the beach where the rest of the troops start disembarking | firing | fighting | Eventide knights are trapped between retreating Veccavi and freshly disembarked troops | | rangers support the Eventide's retreat | Legion cavalry rushes to the help of the Eventide | | | rangers shoot fire arrows at the ships | Legion retreats uphill to the road | Eventide knights and Legion cavalry retreat to the right hand side flank of the Pendor troops | ships are set aflame, disrupting disembarkment | most of the rangers reposition on the cliffs near the road | | | Veccavi elite force advances | rangers build makeshift catapults | parlay between Marcus and the Veccavi commander | | battered Veccavi forces regroup | catapults start bombarding the Veccavi, rangers concentrate fire on the women | | | women charge north, krom and kral slaves towards the Legion | firing | | | Veccavi light the flame wall before their infantry can reach it | firing | | | the whole army charges north | northern rangers target Veccavi horses to break their charge | Legion moves north to support the Eventide | Eventide charges Veccavi cavalry | | southern auxiliaries refuel the flame wall | legion crushes into the Veccavi forces | heavy fighting, northern auxuliaries crushed | heavy fighting | southern auxiliaries move north, reinforcements arrive | reinforcements arrive | reinforcements arrive | Veccavi charge is crushed | southern rangers move north, Raven Spear and Immortals attack the Veccavi from behind | fighting | Eventide reunites with other Pendor forces | women move/flee north, kral and krom guards flee back to the ships, archers start attacking Pendor forces from behind | southern rangers and auxiliaries attack Veccavi archers | Legion drives back the kral and krom to the beach | knights start carrying away the wounded | archers are crushed, the fleeing pursued by Clarion Call and Windrides |
After that negotiations with the remaining krom and kral guards begin. I hope I got it all right, but feel free to change anything you don't like, Mordred.

| Nice, but Lucius is not (yet) a centurio, he was a legionary footsoldier although an exceptionally brave one. For RP purposes i'd like to promote him as Marcus's assistant and bodyguard.
Appropriate casualties for the Legion is around 40, since 20 dead on horseback and 20 dead on foot from my RP. Centurion Catullus was wounded.

| What are our casualties? I am posting my report now, but I need to know the casualties, at least those of my Order. | |

| What is the total number of surviving krom and kral guards? We need this information for the royal council... | |

| Yeah, Eventide can present it in their battle report. | |

| The total number of Krom/Kral that surrendered are around 2,000 men, I assume you're not going to do a head count on the way to the king.
The actual number can be as low as 1,500 and as high as 2,300.
Also, there were Veccavians that escaped the battle, A fraction of what was deployed, but enough to be notable.

| We already took care of that. The Windriders and Clarion Call hunted down many of them and we told the nearby villages, Dagon castle and Windholm to be on the lookout and double their patrols. | |

| Just a small question regarding the casualties. Diablodude, you said that the casualties included those too wounded to fight. Does that mean too wounded to fight for the moment, or real disablements, constantly eliminating them from military usage? | |

| Eliminated from usage. When I am back in action on Tuesday (so long as the Liberation is over, and reports are up which by then they should be) I will be calculating the new recruits / promotions for each Order. | |
