IC-Scene: Poinsbruk Market Talk Empty
PostSubject: IC-Scene: Poinsbruk Market Talk   IC-Scene: Poinsbruk Market Talk EmptyTue Dec 04, 2012 7:24 am

Rumors were already spreading when Milos passed through the main Gate at Poinsbruk. When he passed Wayrest Castle he sent a messenger ahead who should spread the rumor that he would return from the Southern woods with handiwork that has never been seen in the North. Milos stayed one night in the Castle and then slowed the speed of his Caravan to let the rumors spread out even more.

The day he arrived the latest gossip was that he managed to arrange a meeting with a Noldor Lord who gladly sold him his best goods, he even was allowed to stay one night in his Castle and eat from his bread and drink from his wine.

He knew the moment he entered the City and showed his goods the whole population would flock to him and hang on his lips, listening to his stories. The true ones and even the false ones.

And so it began.

During the day he sold his goods, only a few of the rare Noldor ones to keep the talk up and the customers coming. Maybe some Lordling would travel all the way from Windholm or Ravenstern and pay double or triple the price.
During the evening and most of the night he visited the Taverns and spread his words.

"The Dragons are trying to take your land, first they start trading with the Mystmountains, next they give them your land to integrate them into our life."

"They only care about you when you carry a sword for them."

"They don't need or want the food you produce. They have enough money to buy it from the south."

"Their Grandmaster, this huge beast, has a huge Diamond under his eyepatch and he shits gold, thats how rich they are."

"They want for Poinsbruk to put themselves under the rule of the Dragons. And they don't shy away from force to achieve this."

"You can trust no order which is always threatening with war. They are just like the Eventide, always ready to go to war for the slightest reason. All we need is peace like we have right now here in the east."

He only mentioned the Silvermists when he talked about his travels. He said how save the steppes have become and that they were booming with life from all the newcomers. He said that the life in the steppes improves day by day. New houses are built all the time and everyday goods arrive from Laria to help imprive the lifestyle.

A lot more talking would be needed for the rumors to manifest themselves inside the heads of the people. But Milos had enough time, with all the money he made from the Noldor goods he could buy himself some time off.
