OOC Thread: For This Mission

Hey Guys,

Seeing all the "OOC" in parenthesis on the main page is sort of detracting a bit from the RP, so feel free to use this as the OOC thread for the mission.

I am rather busy at the moment so please feel free to write in Fred where he is needed, just don't kill him!

He calls Sir Mat over and they discuss the final details of how their men will be split.

fidelity its just discussing how we will be splitting our men it doesn't need to be discussed in public especially since i dont know the names of all of our men or anything. it was just an addendum for the rp.

OK. Just put in a placeholder thing in. Make up 1-2 names and then say these men and their fist (squad) will go with you.

what precisely are we supposed to do? we cant dictate what we do next beyond and the plan went into motion ewithout decding how effective it is. im not going to post anything besides like and then 5 hours later the harlequin was sipping a nice port in the castle.

If nothing happens this evening then I will add something tonight. Hopefully MM will be able to continue the story though.

I was wondering if it was possible to have a third party, like Mordread, Matt or even a member of the KotEG write up roadblock RP to make this event more dynamic. Idk if we're actually doing this and we just haven't got to it yet, but it seems to me that a lot of our chars actions are being completely written up by the player themselves, so it would be great if someone other than me would write up that my character and his accomplices were being sniped or that lighting suddenly struck my soldiers on fire. Anything that would be unbeknownst to me (or anyone for that matter) so the next time I jump on I can write up a creative way to get my char out of it.

Worry not, you'll no longer have to write up everything that is going on, such as the casualties inflicted on your men.

I shall be inflicting more than enough casualties to satisfy everyone.

i know that my knights are dismounted but i think sir aranor and mordkaisers knights are still mounted

Mine are dismounted, mordkaisers SHOULD be dismounted

The walls are currently too far away from your position to shoot at them with any accuracy. Let alone with the Krom/Kral standing in front of the Veccavian archers with the sole purpose of soaking up incoming arrows.

As such, the Veccavians on the walls are not yet firing upon the forces in the city either. That was more to set up you next destination and hint at the difficulty.

EDIT: Still waiting for the Dawn's post to be edited before I continue. And I'm pretty sure that the nobles were not located with the palace, or "central keep" as you called it, Centurion.

Im also back to help write and keep things going btw.

@Centurion - My mistake, I was informed that you were in the noble district (Along with Boadice. There was a scene detailed by Mordred concerning the nobles a couple of pages back.) Were you with the group at the gatehouse instead, opening the gate for the dawn?

In which case, you would be in the Inner City (Look to Mordred's map) right around where the Dawn currently is.

well, currently i am holed up without any chance to advance thanks to enemy archers....

Funny you should say undisciplined, MordKaiser regarding the woman berserkers.

Backstory behind them is that they're the top 10% of the best warriors that Veccavia has to offer.

In other words, their knight unit.

Anyway, I'll get to posting here in a bit. So the hell raining will resume soon.


Edit: When I say top 10% of the best.. I mean the top 10% of the top 5%.

So the top .5% of what Veccavia has to offer.

Please try to stick to the OOC thread, Centurian.

Unless the Dawn's shields are special-made, I am assuming that their shields are not all steel. Rather, steep-plated wood. Which both keeps the shields lighter and easier to make, and also catches blows, instead of deflecting them into the wearer.

Which means the shield isn't nearly as strong as solid steel, but does its job better of protecting its user.


If I am wrong in this assumption though, feel free to correct me.
