Although it doesn't affect me directly (I've repeatedly mentioned that I won't deal with politics for a while), it seems we have now a difficult situation regarding the Aelfwine event.
The context: there was a council, and there were consequences for that council. Whether the consequences are pleasant, moral, correct, or even logical is irrelevant for this poll.
The original consequences were the rebellion of Duke Aelfwine and the possibiltiy of a war of the nobility against the royal orders.
The revised consequences are a very milder version of the original one, as described in the respective post from today.
Now, it seems to me that, despite everything, people prefer the original consequences. This poll is for the community to know if that assumption is correct. The GMs, then, would be asked to take the results of the poll into consideration and alter the official consequences of the council event to whatever extent they consider fitting.
