| Well what happens if we actually expand our influence into another chapters..say the griffons at high pass. WIll there be retaliation (what way? ) , how will the king manage this or will he let it become a minor war....And if we expand to non rp knighthood orders? | |

| Outposts and fortified camps to defend particular areas of the map are fine (just let me know where), they will be expensive and require a good sized garrison. Building new castles, towns, villages afraid I will have to say no there.
As to expansion, this can be achieved a number of different ways;
Conquest certainly is the most obvious and quickest route to expansion though you will have face the consequences for your actions. If you attack someone who is your established enemy the King will likely turn a blind eye, these are feudal politics after all, but attack someone who was friendly or even neutral and you may find a Royal army ushering in a return to the status quo. Likewise if you harry the people or cause atrocities.
You also have more subtle means at your disposal, building new infrastructure for the peasants, developing trade and commerce, sending missionaries to spread your faith / ideology, establishing patrols to secure the land etc. All of these can be done in anyone's land, though some may not take kindly to the interference.
Finally, remember this is simply influence, this is not actual land holding. You may only establish Chapterhouses in towns, and are still subject to the whims of the nobleman who actually rules there. Is it possible to become the Lord of the town? Certainly, but no Order has achieved this yet. | |

| You can try, certainly. Some Lords may already have sympathies to one Order or another. | |

| GMs, can we get a simple description of the main export and import good for each town?
For example (I have no idea which resources are correct):
Marleons: linen/grain Torbah: salt/grain Ethos: wine/iron
