| Probably not. You can just go RP alone in the Invasion thread, as long as it is concerned with the current event or just post it in the chapters section, i think? | |

| Will there be actual lectures at the siegecraft academy? My character would volunteer to hold a lecture on siege engine mechanics... | |

| It's funny that you mention siege weapons, and learning in the same sentence.
Almost a coincidence...

Perhaps we can talk about this later, IC. I think the academy building needs to be built before any lectures take place... Provided Mordred approves anything like that.

Nothing to stop you doing it, though it would not be officially hosted by us, but if you want to set it up go for it.

And why is that? Yeah just do whatever. There probably won't be any IC-lectures. And I still don't understand your point, people have had lectures on much more ridiculous things after all.

| Putting aside the fact that (polemically speaking) you got a whole academy for moving a large wooden shield, I anyway would not have talked about defensive engines (which is in fact quite boring) but about the mechanics of offensive machinery which is a bit more to talk about. | |

| it could go poorly because it would be rather annoying. I like to pretend I know quite a bit about siege weapons of the time as well as minoring in college in physics. So any actual physical knowledge gained would not really make me want to participate.
The large wooden shield you improvised has a name its called a pavise. (or a mantlet, touche mordred)

| It was more akin to a Mantlet actually. Besides the lecture wouldn't be just for you Centurion, but for those who are interested. | |

| im saying it should have a discernible purpose. like maybe those who send someone to learn could actually benefit in some within their order.
-im sorry if my previous post sounded rude or arrogant! unintentional.
