I am almost certain he's a triple agent. Considering he said he definitely ruled me out.

Well the meeting he had with us was entirely about getting support to fight the bandits, we refused to give him money but agreed to seek recruits for him amongst our people.

He hasn't spoken with the other baron yet so it looks like he's decided to support you.

I ruled out joining you, that doesn't mean I can't still work with you on goals that serve both our ends.

As the three baronets get caught up in the fighting, a forth faction, led by Amhain Iobairt, claims Kelredan as his own! (Well, he is a landed knight of Kelredan, but you get what I mean)

The end result?

Sacrifices for everybody!...

I personally don't know who Iobairt is truly supporting either. Nickolas is too busy focused on his mission, so I doubt he'll come up with any conclusions regarding the Knight of Kelredan. However, I wonder if his troop composition will outnumber that of the baronets themselves. If so, things are going to get interesting real quick.

He's not going to be fooling Rebache. Look at my last post if you don't know what I mean.

All looks good to me I think, though wouldn't the extended reach of using a lance make it harder for him to dodge?

Remember how easy it is to evade a charging lancer ingame. The lancer has only a limited ability to adjust the direction of his charge and if he angles his lance too much he looses the momentum (the momentum delivered by the lance is roughly the momentum of the horse & rider times the cosine of the angle between the horses direction and the lance, i.e. when the angle approaches 90° the momentum goes to 0.) while the target can simply jump out of the way. Olaf already got penalties based on the circumstances.

I'm confused as to why its a penalty to drop an axe.

It takes time, he needs a few seconds to drop the axe and draw the throwing axe.

With a warhorse charging down at you those few seconds are important.
