| I think it's reasonable to assume the following:
30, with the possibility of carrying 60 if other items are left behind (not the case). Leaders might have an assistant carrying extra quivers for them, but nothing exceptional.
If we are near a supply line, with scouts being able to carry ammunition from the armory, I would say it is near infinite. This is what happened against the Veccavians.
This is not the case here, in the forest, because our supply sources are too far away (legion's camp) or cut off (Cez).
Within Cez, yes. I had RPd my rangers gathering arrow reserves from the Legion's chapter before the battle began.

| So we have a total of ca. 4500 arrows to shoot without having to reload | |

| So the best idea for the legion would be to walk around the battlefield collecting all the arrows and bring them back to you ... =)
Its time to produce troops with Shields, 2 meters high and 2 meters wide =)

| Corrected: 4500 arrows with Noldor accuracy.
Then the Legion's hundreds of javelins
And somehow I think we will still be overwhelmed by the snakes.
so many arrows...that's not very environmentally friendly.

| I'll ask one thing before doing anything. How badly does the rain mess with Silvermist accuracy? Please, "Silvermists are above such trivialities as rain" is not an answer.
SC-units have their ammo-limits but you won't know of them.
Also, I will treat SL-units as having 10 Javelins per person.

| I should think a -1 on ranged skill would be appropriate to reflect the influence of the rain. Keep in mind though, that rain affects composite weapons more than the longbows, which are made of one single piece of wood, so cultist's crossbows would suffer a higher penalty or even break after some uses, as did the crossbows of the Genuese mercenaries at Crecy. | |

| I don't know. It definitely reduces their accuracy, but I don't know to what extent precisely. I guess you will have to decide for yourself yourself. Shooting in the rain is not as hard as in the mist or in the cold. Heavy rain also does slightly reduce the range. At any rate, in the rain bows are a thousand times more effective than crossbows. I had a post about something similar here: https://popaftermath.forumotion.com/t303-crossbows-and-rainEDIT: what iskar said. | |

| I had been aware of the rain vs. crossbow, don't worry. I'll take -2 from accuracy in long range and -1 on short range (I'll decide the case whenever anyone shoots), it is a VERY heavy rain after all. This does also affect the cultist | |

| I understand that it's strategically better to capture some of the fake legionnaires and interrogate them afterwards. But this is something a commander would have thought. I assume that a regular knight would not be as farsighted to grasp the greater strategy of the situation, so I RPed them accordingly. Hence the order: kill everyone. | |

| Hey Marcus, I should perhaps let you know that those horsemen are charging a column of roughly 70-80 legionnaires. At this point I can't send messengers to you anymore, so I'd say that you should probably send a scout soon in order ascertain IC whether they succeeded or not.

| Remember the newly recruited troops of the Legion: There are 52 retainers, 12 legionnaires and a centurion whose location of deployment has not yet been decided on. | |

| Then they should have encountered the fight with the Amalan legionnaires from the mysterious ship on their way to Cez. Also, why was that fight carried on without another reply from Theo? | |
