I just went through the effort on my current playthrough. It's absolutely hilarious to see them smashing a Knight of the Lion's horse. Twice in a single battle, the Hammer nailed the horse at the same time a bolt hit the head of the Lion. I wish I could have recorded that. XD As a general question... I defeated the Fierdys. Their last place was Valonbray. It's been a few days, yet "Small bands of enemies" are still being sighted. Am I just screwed to an eternity of seeing those messages? Or will they eventually ask for peace?

| They'll eventually join the other factions if they are lord warbands or get killed off by something nastier than them if its just the militia partols. Then the faction will be permanently "dead".
At least, that's how the D'shar got killed off in my first and current run through.

| Ah yes, Ebony Gauntlet Hammers... the most useful Order auxiliary I have seen, to the point where adding some weapon skills would almost make them a decent knight. Such a shame that they can't be gained through upgrading knights, like the Gauntlet Knights can. | |

| Woo! I did something good for once!
And if they are killing horses, then they are working as designed. Excellent!

| But, but, but, you made the anti-Noldor order the most powerful (for my playstyle), you monster! No, actually it's alright, because the Ebony Gauntlets actually make it easier to befriend the Noldor, by taking so many prisoners. | |

| Well what kind of idiots would pick a fight with the Noldor if they couldn't actually fight? | |

| The Noldor are about the only group they can't fight effectively, with no horses and not enough shields (Excellent armour doesn't stop Noldor archers). I was just referring to the fact that if you can win such a fight, you'll get a lot more prisoners than if you crush the Noldor with cavalry.
Oh, and they do well against the Noldor cavalry, which you can't overwhelm with your own - but most of the patrols have few of those and more foot-archers.

| I want a comedy event of a group of ragtag peasants taking on a Noldor scouting party. With hilarious and unexpected results. | |

| Well, for that you want to "assist" one of the peasant rebel armies against the Noldor, if you can get such a battle to happen. I wonder if you could overwhelm one of the 40-strong Noldor parties (you won't beat much more than that...) | |

| The ending was kind of anti-climatic in my opinion, but it played out beautifully. We were so engrossed in it we went on a 3 day marathon finishing it.
I haven't played the old one, mostly because it didn't really appeal to me at the time.

| I haven't beat the new one yet. I had some devastating losses after a series of bad missions and haven't come back to it in awhile. | |

| I never got the whole Nuka Cola appeal in the Fallout series, perhaps because I've never lived in the Californian wastelands. But today, after riding my bike at noon during an unusually dry and hot Summer, I had an epiphany: having a Nuka Cola or equivalent under a scorching 35° Sun is good.
DrSane, I understand you. This hemisphere's Summer sucks.

| Heh, I wish we had snow. I live in the Northern U.S., so it's been roughly 34 degrees everyday. In celsius I think that's roughly 1. XD I love the first snowstorm of the year, because every moron with a license to drive decides to go to the store across town. Last year along a main street in our town there were fifty two cars that were stuck in the piles of snow. Good ol' 'murican intelligence. | |
