Now, seriously Darlion, what have you done? Gauntlets and Silvermists are working together and even Eventiders are supporting Sir Aranor. You managed to make everyone hate the griffons! No small feat, would I say.

Darlion arrested said Gauntlet for a breach of peace.

He arrested Sir Aranor, after a warning, for threatening rebellion.

Umm, I'm sure there were several other treasonous remarchs, such as Aelfwine refusing to obey law of halfs, yet Darlion did nothing there.

Aelfwine was not in Darlion's city threatening to rebel against the King if his demands weren't met.

Darlion arrests everyone with whom he doesn't agree, that's okay.

I am highlighting the fact that the hate of the Griffons has united the most improbable factions. Have we seen that before in history? Yes we have. In that morning Darlion may have accomplished more for the unity of Pendor than Mordred himself.

Yes, that. And the King already had absolute power over law-making, limited only by the powers reserved for the Dukes.

The Governors were not making laws for their provinces, as was discussed much earlier. They simply settled disputes that were beyond the Dukes.
