| Should on of you want to answer about Quigfen, yes you know whether he is in town. He actually has a few Silvermists (and Noldor) guarding him due to his good relations with the order. He also is known to be a friend of the duke. His presence is expected. | |

| Are you expecting Zero to join as well? Should we wait for him? | |

| I think I already saw him online since the event started. Therefore I conclude that he does not feel inclined to have his character join yet and that we can start right now. If he joins later on his character can easiliy be briefed about what will have been said up to that moment. | |

| Obviously Mat Cauthan did something outdoors before the duke arrived. As we ordered our rangers to patrol the streets and keep an eye on the knights of the ebony gauntlet in particular, I guess his actions should have been observed by one of our rangers and thus be reported to us soon. Please tell me if I fell prey to a misconception here. | |

| No, you are completely right. To follow what he sat in motion will however take your men a bit of time. | |

| Please don't think that I have forgotten you, Theo. I have to admit I did not expect that someone would decide on not being present at the meeting, but I'll try to come up with something for you soon, I promise. | |

| It's ok. Rangers are trained to stay the whole day hiding under trees. I'm just waiting for Caranthir to call me in if there is no blood bath in the castle. | |

| Theo actually made a valid point in mentioning that the gates will be closed at night. You will have do decide if you keep any patrols outside the city during the night or if all Rangers should report back to the Clarion Hall. | |

| The rangers are well used to camping in the open. Withdrawing all scouts and patrols at night would just be an invitation to anyone conducting secret business.
...
Well, that leads to an interesting idea. I will have more orders to issue after the meeting (if it terminates before nightfall).

| The meeting began pretty late, but let's assume the gates are kept open a bit longer this day because of the expected guests from all over the marches. So you will have a little time to issue orders that make use of the situation before the gates are closed. But not much. | |

| All right, but I would guess your Rangers will have greater problems following people unnoticed in the city. They are not trained for that. | |

| There are already non disguised patrols on the streets so the Gauntlet will not pay much attention to civilians. If the streets become too empty to follow unseen they shall go over the rooftops, watching them from above. | |

| I didn't want to cut you off, Aldric, but if we go on discussing Noldor relations with these bull headed brutes, we never get to finish this meeting...
Anyway your reply was good and I myself felt tempted to have Iskar say something against the propagandistic statements ("just men" and "tree rats") of that knight.

| It's okay. I felt I was going a bit off topic anyway. Just wanted to open the minds of everyone there. I mean, Laria is the closest place to Noldor. Gotta convince them first before the whole Pendor can accept them. | |

| I had scouts outside the walls to observe anything that happens during the night. Obviously the gauntlets did something but do not seem to be finished yet. Therefore dawn will be when Azlanek gives us the reports of the night patrols. | |

| That is/was correct. But I have just heard that Fidelity has taken over the dawn event as host for DD, so that would explain why he is a little distracted at the time and proably will be in the future. I hope other Gauntlets will step in for him so that we can keep going. | |

| Its a marginal issue, but you should rename the Day 2 actions thread to Day one actions, as the council meeting was on the eve of day 0. | |

| saerossaeros, would you mind doing the preparations for the parade? I remember you already had some good ideas for that before the gauntlets disappeared. You have 45 rangers and 35 mounted rangers at your disposal. (I had to withdraw 10 men from Laria for another operation.) You are almost completely free in your decisions regarding this. The only thing I would like to point out is that I would not completely withdraw our mounted rangers from the surrounding areas, as I want to keep an eye on possible interferences from outside Laria and catch all unathorised messengers. | |
